So this past weekend my roommate and I decided to make the most out of our Saturday by sleeping in and exploring the city. Recently my friends and I have been into discovering cute little coffee shops and places to eat. We heard of this quaint Cuban café called Black Bean Deli. Us being the coffee aficionados that we are, we felt compelled to check it out. Boy where we glad that we did! Okay, so they had a lunch special until three o'clock and we literally got there at two fifty, so we had ten minutes to figure out what we wanted to eat and order it. (#minianxietyattack.) Luckily the person taking our order was fast and we were able to indulge in the glorious lunch special. We had rice with black beans, typical delicious Cuban food, plus a half Cuban sandwich. I also had a relleno de papa (stuffed potato with beef, aka heaven), and Kathleen had a pumpkin flan and café con leche, which was apparently exquisite. After getting completely stuffed and taking one to many pictures, we headed to the mall and continued our Saturday endeavors!
