Rain Rain, Go Away
What do you do on a rainy day? Stay in bed, ooh so tempting! Surprisingly this day I didn't. My amazing friend Stephanie made me get out of bed and join her for some adventure, disregarding the rain, of course. Let me tell you, this day was a cute one. I love the rain and all of its calming and charming factor. Honestly, I don't like getting wet when I'm ready to conquer the world and I have spent time getting ready. But hey, sometimes you have to let go and dance in the rain! It's so lovely my friends. You should try it sometime. So we went to this enchanting park that has the prettiest scenery. The gloom is so underrated at times, and its beauty is quite breathtaking. Gosh it didn't even feel like we were in Florida. We both felt like we had teleported to Forks, Washington in the movie Twilight or London! I recall standing in this bridge over the cool waters and just taking everything in. Sometimes in life we take the small things for granted, and in that moment I was overwhelmed with thankfulness. I was so thankful for the beauty of God's creation, the rain drops falling on my face, the brisk air that I was inhaling, and my dear friend Stephanie standing right next to me taking everything in, as well. Stop and smell the roses, more like stop and dance in the rain.
Lose yourself in the wonder all around you, God's got your back though it all.
