Almost Sweater Weather
Hello everyone, I am officially on Thanksgiving break and I couldn’t be more excited about it! It has been a pretty hard first semester of Nursing School, and a break is much needed. I just finished my clinicals at the hospital for this semester; let me tell you it is nothing like Grey’s. Although I am pretty crammed with studying for finals and writing care plans amongst the other assignments, I am making it a point to enjoy this break. I will relish the fact that I don’t have to set an alarm! SCORE. I am looking forward to spending time with my family that is coming down to spend Thanksgiving with us. Perhaps I’ll even get a chance to score some black Friday deals, Bath & Body Works anyone?! If you dare brave the black Friday insanity, then “may the odds be ever in your favor!” I have also created a Holiday Gift Guide tab on my blog with multiple gift guides to give you some inspiration and ideas! Enjoy and happy shopping!
One of my family traditions for Thanksgiving is to buy and put up our Christmas tree. I have already started decorating the house for Christmas and it feels and smells glorious! Is it just me, or does November and December pass by super quick? This is my favorite time of the year and it just flies on by. I wish time would slow down so I could soak everything in. It’s still not cold in Florida, which explains me wearing a sweater with shorts. Hopefully it starts getting cold so the weather can match the festivities. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
