Cling Onto Hope
Hope is such a vivid and real thing, although not tangible. In life I've become aware that we experience many different seasons, some great and others not so great. Lately I've been finding myself in a place where I am continuously clinging onto my hope; Hope that everything will work out for greater. Nothing or nobody can take your hope away, remember that! Friends, place your confidence and your hope in the one who created it, who created you. People will fail, circumstances will arise, but will your hope rise in the midst of it? To hope is a choice so choose to cling onto hope. It's not an easy choice, at least not for me. There are things that I hope for and haven't seen them come to fruition, but thats okay. There is a method to the madness behind God's perfect work, and I trust that He will carry me through anything. I encourage you to hope when all hope seems exasperated and to even hope when all is rainbows and butterflies. God isn't done unveiling the plans for my life, nor the plans for your life. That's the beauty in all of this. When your hope isn't contingent upon situations, material things, people or even yourself, it will never fail. Place your hope in the one thing that will never fail, Jesus.
I challenge you to never loose hope, even when it may seem like your life got flipped upside down, or is rather confusing. Find the clarity in all of it, and hey, a little bit of uncertainty isn't all that bad. How boring would it be if we were always certain? See there would never be growth! This week I was sitting in my brothers' eighth grade graduation and the commencement speaker mentioned this scripture which challenged my hope like no other. Also props to the commencement speaker, which had impeccable style and didn't allow me to drive off into snoozeville.
"I remember it all—oh, how well I remember the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times." Lamentations 3: 21-27
You are worthy of hope!
Diligently seek and cling onto it, don't let go!
