Puerto Rico: Day Four
Hey everyone! I hope you've enjoyed my post on my vacation in Puerto Rico, if you missed make sure you check out day one & two and day three. I still have more days to share with you so make sure you subscribe (link on the sidebar) to my blog in order to keep up with the latest!
This day was planned totally last minute and it was so worth it! It was actually my moms idea, which is quite interesting since she doesn't really go for things like this. My brothers and I have always wanted to go ATV riding, and we found a place that we could do it in the tropical rain forest! Hello, we were so there! So we started off our morning with an amazing breakfast and headed down or should I say up, to Carabali Rainforest Park. This place is a huge ranch that has horseback riding, go-carts, atvs, etc. I recommend this hands down, excellent costumer service, and affordable pricing. I think we would totally go back and repeat this excursion again. Once we got to the ranch, we got our gear and started driving up the mountain. I had never driven one of these things before so it was so cool! I love things like this it was so freeing and so much fun. We chose the one hour tour rather then the two hour (we will do the two hour one next time!). It had two stops, the first was 100ft. up the mountain with the view of the rainforest. The second stop was at a natural river, you had the option of taking a quick dip as well. Then we defended down the mountain. It was so much fun! As I drove through the rain forest, I felt like I was in Jurassic World, the scene where Chris Pratt is riding with the velociraptors by his side, totally bad butt, ha. My favorite memory was turning around and seeing my brother grab some major air and get all muddy. He was living life and enjoying every moment.
Being that most of my family lives in Puerto Rico, we rarely go out and do touristy activities. We usually go to the same places over and over again. This time was so different, we did something new every single day. It was so much fun and such an adventure. I loved seeing my family so happy and completing things off their bucket list. Speaking of bucket list, I crossed something off of my list during this trip! (More on that later)
I can't wait to share with you day five!
