Hello everyone! I wanted to begin a new series to share my monthly favorites with you. I will be gathering a culmination of things from beauty to non-beauty things. Can you believe that it is August? Oh gawd. There are literally like 4 months until Christmas. This month has been filled with many adventures with my friends and family. Summer is almost over and the thoughts of school beginning (joke because I haven't even stopped school, thanks to two online classes) are slowly creeping. Best of luck to you all staring school this month! Make goals, and rock the socks off of this new school year! There is a lot to look forward to in this month, especially moving and I am excited to redecorate my room. I'll share pictures when it's all done, promise! I hope you enjoy my favorites! Stay tune for next months favorites.

Woah, I have an obsession with these babies! I have the colors Candy K (wearing "Candy K" here) & Exposed (wearing "Exposed" here & here) and they are perfect. I am a huge advocate for liquid lipsticks and my collection is ever so growing. I love the formula, they are so smooth and they last so freaking long, literally all day, even through food and drinks. You can use them with the lip liner (included in the kit) or solo, I tend to toss back and forth to make them last. The cost is perfect when you factor in the pricing of the items that you get. Candy K is the most perfect my lips but better rose and Exposed is a swoon worthy peachy nude. Yep, I foresee my collection expanding asap. If only I could get my hands on her new Kyshadows. Funny story, I was so serious about getting them. I set an alarm for their release and when the timer sounded, I grabbed my computer and put it in my cart, when I went to check out to process, they got sold out!! WHAAAT! Literally died a little. Oh well, I shall get my tiny fingers on them soon!
This had been my go-to foundation, especially when I have photoshoots or special events. You can watch my "get ready with me" youtube video using this foundation, here! The Pore Vanishing Stick is perfect for hiding pore problem areas. I love using it around my t-zone and my nose to give an even smoother surface.
Goodness, I have heard nothing but great things about these two products but was never able to get my hands on them. My thoughtful friend graced me with these and I have been using them every since. I was a bit hesitant to use the concentrate since it is just oil. I have normal/combination skin but it can tend to get a bit dry if I don't moisturize properly. Let me just say that I love this! It does not make my face oily at all. I use 3 small pumps and pat it all over my face before I go to bed. To pair this, I use the eye cream around my puffy eyes. I genetically have dark and puffy eyes so I need all the help I can get in that department. This is wondrous! And the smell of both products is so soothing, lavender I think, yep that will put me right to sleep.
If I could wear one nail polish for the rest of my life it would be "easy going". This is my go-to polish and my favorite. I would wear it all the time if I could. I am so taking in the summer since I can't paint my nails in nursing school. Apparently, my nails are trending with pantone's color of the year. This pale blue is simply stunning. I love anything pale, pastel, and white.

Summer calls for an endless array of sunglasses. You all remember that movie Princess Diaries 2 where she opens her magical closet and presses #3 and out comes drawers of sunnies? Yes, this is everyones time to press that #3 and whip out their collection. I am obsessed with these rose mirror sunnies as well as these oversized tortoise shells.
Fleur, fleur, fleurs. Which gal doesn't love flowers? Buy me flowers and I will cave. Oh and orange juice too, but that's besides the point. I love picking up fresh blooms to liven up the house and the room! I have yet to come across my favorites, peonies, so blush and white roses will do!

Music: Currently crushing on some serious oldies: Caribbean Queen by Billy Ocean and Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas. (Check out the videos, your welcome.) In the realm of the current era I am loving The 1975's new album.
